A Critics Thought on Halloween...

  Filmmaker Rob Zombie returns to Haddonfield for this Dimension Films sequel that finds the murderous psychopath Michael Myers (once again played by Tyler Mane) out on the loose again. Zombie writes and directs, with Malek Akkad handling producing duties.

  MovieTradition gives Halloween a 7 out of 10 for many reasons. First off if you are a Michael Myers fan and have grown up watching the (truly over-played) series then you will enjoy this one as well. For you younger horror fans you also will enjoy the gutless graphics. The main problem MovieTradition has with this film is the partly confusing plot line. Zombie has re-written this new series of Halloween and unlike the first one he kind of twisted this story to the point where only a certain group of people are truly going to understand what is going on (other than the fact that Michael is killing everything he encounters) through out the entire movie. MovieTradition recommends this film for all Michael Myers fans of old and young. You will enjoy this film just because of the goriness. All others who like a movie that you can understand from beginning to end... just stay home and wait for the Blu-Ray. Sorry Mr. Zombie but you kinda messed this one up a little.
