A Critics Thought...

Harry is back for his sixth year at Hogwarts, but this time things are different. The safe haven they once could run to is under a dark influence and things are not as safe as they once were. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was an extremely well played movie as always with the Potter series.Though this film was more on the dark / humorous side than any of the others it will go down as one of MovieTradition's Top Films of 2009! Adding much needed info to the story while at the same time leaving enough open endings that the viewer will want to come back for more! This film showed true thematic excellence. MovieTradition recommends this film for Potter fans and Potter fans only. The viewer will be lost many times over without the needed prep - info from the prior stories. Team MovieTradition recommends that if you are not a fan head on out to the nearest Blockbuster and grab a copy of each prior film... and THEN head out to the theater to catch this fantastic summer flick. And for all of the Potter fans out there.... GET UP AND GET TO THE THEATER! This movie is well worth the money and well worth the 2 and a half hours spent in the theater! MovieTradition gives Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince an excellent 9 out of 10 for its extreme suspense! So get your friends and "make tonight a POTTER night!"
