A Critics Thought on Shorts...

 Where to start? A falling rock from the sky that grants the wish of anyone who beholds it. Sounds kinda unbelievable? The movie Shorts is about "short" little scenes from the movie that all tie in together in the end. In this small suburb, every adult works for the same company called Black Cube and their children all go to the same school. The story centers around a young boy named Toe Thompson (Jimmy Bennett), who also narrates the movie. He is a lonely boy who has imaginary friends. The other kids at school always picked on him, until he found "the rock"."The rock" changes everyones life who comes in contact with it. It has the ability to grant anyones wish. Many people come in contact and each have their own little spin off of "short" scenes, which include their use of 'the rock". Things take a turn for the worse though when the adults begin to discover its power and what it is capable of.

  Team MovieTradition gives Shorts a 7.5 out of 10. For its historical moments, and somewhat suspenseful plot. Surprisingly Team MovieTradition found this movie to be the best out this weekend. The movie kept you wondering, kept you laughing, and taught you good lesson. Shorts is a good wholesome movie and should be checked out by any family who is looking for a good time to spend with their kids. Children as well as adults will enjoy this movie. So parents grab your kids and get down to the movies this weekend to enjoy a great movie and a great time!
