A Critics Thought...

MT's Rating of The Fourth Kind : 8.5 out of 10

Set in the fall of 2000 and purportedly based on actual events, The Fourth Kind stars Milla Jovovich as Dr. Abigail Tyler, a Nome, Alaska-based psychotherapist whose videotaped sessions with her patients offer the most compelling evidence of alien abduction ever documented. Elias Koteas and Will Patton co-star.

MovieTradition gives The Fourth Kind an 8.5 out of 10 for it's intense sci-fi/thriller design. This is not your average "Aliens from Outer Space" flick. We went into the movie with some suspicions on how well the audience would be able to stay intrigued or interested in this film - because truly how many of us science fiction fans haven't seen at least 3 Alien flicks - it's near impossible. But this film really blew our minds. The story starts off with a warning from actress Milla Jovovich on how this is an account based off the true account of Psychotherapist Dr. Abigail Tyler, and how her findings on the 'encounters' of herself and her patients with something unexplainable and disturbing, may plague some of us viewers. From this point on the movie switches from actual footage and audio actors re-enacting the scenes. This movie is definitely worth every penny you will spend on a ticket. Team MT recommends this film for every Science Fiction fan out there, and any one that likes movies that will make a viewer think. So get your Sci-Fi junkies together and head on down to this film! Way worth it in our opinion.
