A Critics Thought...

MT's Rating of ZombieLand

A cowardly shut-in named Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) is forced to join up with a seasoned zombie slayer named Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) in order to survive the zombie apocalypse. As Tallahassee sets out on a mission to find the last Twinkie on Earth, the duo meets up with Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin), two young girls who have resorted to some rather unorthodox methods to survive amidst the chaos. Reluctant partners in the battle against the undead, all four soon begin to wonder if it might be better to simply take their chances alone.

MovieTradition gives ZombieLand a 7 out of 10 for many reasons. To begin with this movie was full of violence, humor and gut wrenching gore... but amusingly it was all in the right places. This is definitly going to be a movie that is remembered by many! Woody Harrelson did an exceptional job as usual and the rest of the 6 person cast also added many painstaking laughs to this gorry/funny film. Now to the bad of the movie... mainly the only thing that MT will say negative toward this film is the demographic. This film will only reach out to mainly the 15 - 25 year old male demographic that enjoy violence, gore and humor all mashed together. MovieTradition recommends this film to hardcore zombie fans and anyone that can stand gore and wants to LAUGH! So grab some buddies and make tonight a ZOMBIE NIGHT!
