A Critics Thought...

MT's Rating of Old Dogs : Great Family Film

Two best friends -- one unlucky-in-love divorcee (Robin Williams) and the other a fun-loving bachelor (John Travolta) -- have their lives turned upside down when they’re unexpectedly charged with the care of six-year-old twins while on the verge of the biggest business deal of their lives. The not-so-kid-savvy bachelors stumble in their efforts to take care of the twins, leading to one debacle after another, and perhaps to a new-found understanding of what’s really important in life.

MovieTradition gives Old Dogs the title of "Great Family Film". This movie as most of you know had two of the world's greatest actors: John Travolta and Robin Williams, both of which who played best friends and not so experienced dad's who in the end find the true meaning of family and a purpose for their lives. MovieTradition recommends this film to any and all families, this film was perfect for that type of atmosphere. There were no curse words... ANY WHERE in the film. Which in our opinion was great and surprising. The only bad thing we have to say for this film would be the fact that it has been done so many times with just a few variations in plot line but the basic jist is - two buddies with no experience as fathers just experience as business men find out one of them have children and un-expectantly have to take care of them and then of course in the end every thing falls together and creates a happy quaint ending. So lastly this film is great if you are looking for a wholesome family friendly film for all ages. Definitely worth the money for your next family outing!
